Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Prompt Hero (promptheroo.com) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used and Google AdSense to show ads. By using the site you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: name, username, email address and password when you register. Passwords are stored in encrypted (hashed) form.
- Google sign-in: if you choose Continue with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile photo from Google. We never see your Google password.
- Profile details: a bio and photo, if you add them.
- Content you publish: titles, prompts, notes, tags and images you upload.
- Messages: what you write in the contact form, along with your email so we can reply.
Information collected automatically
- Activity: likes, saves and copies, which power the counters and the Creator League.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, language, the pages you open and the page that sent you here. We use the IP address to prevent spam and fake activity and to apply rate limits.

How we use it
- To create and run your account and show your public profile and posts
- To publish, moderate and rank content, including the Creator League
- To keep the site safe and detect spam, abuse, fake activity and rule-breaking content
- To reply to your messages and send important account or service emails
- To measure and improve the site with analytics
- To show ads that help pay for running the site
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to learn how visitors use the site, for example which pages are popular, how long people stay, what device they use and roughly where they are (based on IP address). Google Analytics sets cookies on your device and sends this usage data to Google, which processes it under its own privacy policy. We do not use Analytics to identify you personally.
You can stop Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Advertising and Google AdSense
We show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners, as third-party vendors, use cookies and similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet. Google’s use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners show ads to you based on your browsing.

Ads are provided by third parties. We do not control the ads that appear and do not endorse the advertisers. If you click an ad, you leave our site and the advertiser’s own policies apply.
Your consent where the law requires it
Where the law requires it, for example for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we ask for your consent before ads and analytics cookies are used, and you can change your choice at any time.
Safety checks and service providers
To enforce our content rules, text and images you submit may be sent to an automated moderation service (for example the OpenAI moderation service) for a safety check. We also use trusted providers for hosting, email delivery, sign-in (Google), analytics (Google Analytics) and advertising (Google AdSense). They may process data only to provide their service to us or, in the case of Google, under their own policies.
What is public
Your display name, username, profile photo, bio and the prompts you publish are visible to everyone and can be found through search engines. Do not put private information in your posts or bio. Your email address is never shown publicly.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers named above, when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the site.
How long we keep data
We keep account data while your account is active. Published posts stay on the site until you ask us to remove them or we remove them under our rules. Analytics data is kept by Google for the period set in our Analytics account. We may keep limited records longer where needed for security, legal or abuse-prevention reasons.
Security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect your information. No website can promise perfect security, so please choose a strong, unique password.
Your choices and rights
You can update your profile at any time from your account page. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may stop working. You may also ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to close your account, by writing to admin@promptheroo.com. We handle such requests in line with applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as they apply to us.
Children
Prompt Hero is not meant for young children and we do not knowingly collect their personal data or direct ads at them. If you are under 18, use the site only with the permission of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has given us personal data without permission, contact us and we will delete it.

Our pages may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new version.
